Fifty people fits on one bus in Singapore. Our largest coach is the 50-seater, and 50 is exactly its licensed capacity, so nobody stands and nobody is left behind.
One 50-seater coach is $120 for a one way transfer. If the headcount might grow past 50, a 45-seater plus a 23-seater is $185 and seats 68.
Why that size suits 50 people
Fifty people used to mean two vehicles, because the largest coach seated 49. The 50-seater coach changed that: one bus, one arrival time, $120 on a one way transfer, and every one of the 50 seats licensed. If the number is likely to grow past 50, the pairings are still there: a 45 seater plus a 23 seater is $185 and seats 68; a 49 seater plus a 23 seater is $195 and seats 72; two 45 seaters is $200 and seats 90. Unless you tell us the group may pass 50, the single 50 seater is what we would quote.

What to check before you book a bus for 50 people
Group bookings go wrong for the same three reasons every time: the headcount was never confirmed, the price left something out, or nobody knew who was driving. Here is how SGBUS.sg handles each, and what to ask of any quote you are holding.
- A 49 seater is quoted for 50 people and someone gets left behind
- What we doCapacity is a licensed figure and standing is not permitted, so 49 means 49 and 50 means 50. For a group of 50 we put you on the 50-seater coach, which is licensed for exactly 50 seated passengers, rather than rounding the number down.
- Ask this of any quoteIs this vehicle licensed for 50 seated passengers, or is it a 49 seater with one person standing?
- If the group outgrows one bus, two buses means it arrives in two waves
- What we doWhere we run more than one vehicle we coordinate departure so the group arrives inside the same few minutes, and both drivers have each other and you on the phone.
- Ask this of any quoteAre the vehicles timed to a single arrival window, or do they just leave when each one is loaded?
- The quote looks fine until the invoice arrives
- What we doDriver, fuel, ERP and parking are inside the figure. Waiting, extra stops, midnight running and public holidays are the only additions, and all four are published on the rates page.
- Ask this of any quoteDoes the number include fuel, ERP, parking and waiting, and what triggers anything on top of it?
Where to find the full 50-seater coach specification
Specification, luggage capacity and rates for the 50-seater coach are on its own page: 50-seater coach. The 49-seater coach sits one seat below it. Prices for every size sit on the rates page.
Count everyone before you book, including organisers
Include organisers, teachers, chaperones and crew, not just the guest list. Those are the people most often left off, and they are the usual reason a booking ends up one seat short.

Common questions about renting a bus for 50 people
Can 50 people fit on one bus?
Yes. The 50-seater coach is licensed for exactly 50 passengers. A 49 seater still means 49, because capacity is a licensed figure and standing is not permitted.
What does a 50 seater bus rental cost in Singapore?
$120 for a one way transfer on the 50-seater coach, or $240 return. If the group may grow past 50, a 45 seater plus a 23 seater is $185 and seats 68.
If we do need two buses, will they arrive together?
Yes. Where we run two vehicles we coordinate departure so the group arrives inside the same few minutes.
What about 60 to 80 people?
Two 45 seaters seat 90 for $200, a 49 plus a 45 seats 94 for $210, two 49 seaters seat 98 for $220, and two 50 seaters seat 100 for $240. One hundred is the largest group we move without a third vehicle.
And 100 people?
Two 50 seaters cover exactly 100 for $240. Past that a third vehicle is needed, and two 45 seaters plus a 23 seater cover 113 for $285.
Fifty people to move?
One 50 seater covers it exactly. Send the date and the pickup point.
