Up to 23 people, take the minibus. 24 to 45 people, take the 45 seater. 46 to 49 people, take the 49 seater. More than 49 and you need a second vehicle, which we run to arrive at the same time.

How the bus sizes compare

Each size has its own rate: a 23 seater from $85, a 45 seater from $100 and a 49 seater from $110. The 45 seater is the cheapest seat we run, and the 23 seater is the one that fits where coaches cannot.

VehicleSeatsFromBest for
23-seater minibus23$85Small teams, narrow estate roads, car parks a coach cannot enter
45-seater coach45$100A full department or class, with spare seats for late additions
49-seater coach49$110The largest group you can keep on one vehicle, instead of splitting across two

Prices are per transfer and include the driver, fuel, ERP and parking, and the quoted figure is the figure you pay. Hourly hire is charged per vehicle: $50 an hour on the 23 seater, $60 on the 45 and $70 on the 49, with a four hour minimum. Full detail sits on the rates page.

What to check before you pick a bus size

Picking a size is where most of the money is won or lost. The three mistakes are booking exactly to headcount, sizing on people while forgetting luggage, and assuming a coach can reach the pickup point.

Booking to the exact headcount and having no slack
What we doWe size with a seat or two spare on purpose. Groups grow, and a booking that fits perfectly on paper fails the moment two colleagues join.
Ask this of any quoteHow many spare seats does this quote leave, and what happens if we go over?
Sizing on people and forgetting the luggage
What we doA group of 40 on a day trip fits a 45 seater. The same 40 flying out with a checked case each needs the 49 seater hold. We ask about bags before quoting a size.
Ask this of any quoteWas this sized on headcount alone, or on headcount plus luggage?
The coach cannot reach the pickup point
What we doThe 23 seater gets into condo driveways and narrow estate roads a full coach cannot. Send the exact address and we confirm access before the booking is set.
Ask this of any quoteHas vehicle access at the pickup point been checked, including any height limit?

Two things that decide the size

Bus size comes down to two things: how many people are actually travelling, and how much luggage they are carrying. Get either wrong and the vehicle that turns up is the wrong one.

Headcount, counted properly

Count the organisers, teachers, chaperones and crew, not just the guests. They are the people most often left off the list, and they are the reason a booking ends up one seat short.

Luggage, not just seats

A group of 40 on a day trip fits a 45 seater comfortably. The same 40 heading to the airport with a checked case each needs more hold space, so the 49 seater is the better buy. You are paying for the luggage bay, not the extra seats.

Which seat count do you actually need?

Most people search by seat count, and several of the sizes advertised around Singapore are not sizes we run. Here is what each one means against our actual fleet, so you can see the real vehicle and the real price before you enquire.

Common questions about bus rental in Singapore

Do you have anything smaller than 23 seats?

No. The 23 seater is our smallest vehicle. For fewer than about eight people a taxi or private hire car is usually cheaper anyway.

Why do you not run a 30 seater?

We do not run a 30 seater because one 45 seater costs less than two minibuses and carries the same group with seats spare. The sizes we do run cover every group up to 49 without a gap worth filling.

Can I see the exact bus before I book?

We can tell you the make and seat layout of the vehicle assigned to your job. We do not promise a specific registration, because vehicles rotate for servicing.

Are seat belts fitted?

Yes, across the fleet. This matters for school bookings in particular, so we confirm it in writing on those jobs.

Know your headcount?

Send it over and we will tell you which bus fits and what it costs.

Driver, fuel, ERP and parking are included, and no GST is added because we are not GST registered. Prefer the phone? Call +65 8065 3479.
