Terms and conditions
What applies when you book a bus with us. Plain English, and short enough to actually read before you confirm.
Last updated August 2026. What happens to the personal details inside a booking is covered separately in the privacy policy.
Who you are booking with
Bookings on SGBUS.sg are with SG Bus Rental (UEN 53379842J), a bus rental operator running since 2018 from 13 Flora Road, #05-02, Singapore 509733.
Confirming a booking by WhatsApp, phone, email or through this website means you accept these terms. They cover every booking type we run: one way transfers, two way transfers, airport transfers, airport returns, hourly hire and monthly contracts.
These terms can change. Whichever version was published when you confirmed is the version that governs your booking.
Booking and confirmation
- A quote is not a booking. Nothing is held until we reply in writing, whether by WhatsApp, email or any other channel that leaves a record.
- Five things get it priced. The date, the time, where we collect, where we drop off, and a headcount that includes organisers and staff.
- Check what you send us. We work from your details exactly as given, and a mistyped pickup address costs everyone time on the morning.
- You will know your driver. His name and mobile number reach you ahead of the trip, not on the day.
Pricing and payment
Quotes are all-inclusive. Driver, fuel, ERP charges and parking are already inside the number. Whatever we confirm is what you pay, unless you add something to the job afterwards.
- No GST. We are not GST registered, so no GST is added. The price we quote is the price you pay. We are not a GST registered business, so nothing is added at the end.
- Charged per vehicle, not per seat. A 45 seater costs the same whether 30 or 45 people board it, up to its licensed capacity.
- Each size has its own rate. The 23 seater, 45 seater, 49 seater and 50 seater are priced separately, and airport trips are priced separately again. See the rates page.
- Payment terms. Payment terms are agreed between us during the enquiry, before you confirm. Tell us at enquiry if you need invoicing against a purchase order or a company account.
Extra stop charges
Transfers are priced against a fixed route. Any collection or set-down we did not quote for adds $20, and that applies to one way, two way, airport and airport return bookings alike.
Hourly hire works differently. You have bought the vehicle for a block of time, so stop as often as the schedule allows at no additional cost.
Waiting time
Some free waiting is built into every transfer. Past that allowance the clock is charged in quarter hours, and a part block counts as a whole one.
| Booking type | Driver arrives | Free waiting | After that |
|---|---|---|---|
| Airport arrival | 30 minutes before touchdown, at the coach bay | 45 minutes from landing | $15 per 15 minutes |
| Airport departure | 15 minutes early, to help load | 15 minutes | $15 per 15 minutes |
| Point to point | 15 minutes early | 15 minutes | $15 per 15 minutes |
| Hourly hire | At your agreed start time | Whole booked block | Nothing. Extend by the hour if a driver is free |
There is a ceiling on this. Once 45 minutes of chargeable waiting have accumulated, the booking converts to the four hour hourly minimum for that vehicle instead of continuing to tick up in quarter hours.
Worked example. A 45 seater airport arrival is $120. Your flight lands and the first 45 minutes cost nothing. The group reaches the coach 12 minutes after that, which falls inside a single quarter hour, so $15 is added. You pay $135.
Want someone waiting inside the terminal with a name board? Meet and greet is $20 per vehicle and has to be requested when you book, not on the day.
Midnight charges
Any job that begins at 11pm or later, or finishes anywhere between 11pm and 7am, carries $20 per vehicle. It is applied to each bus on the job rather than once per booking.
Public holiday charges
Gazetted Singapore public holidays carry $30 per vehicle, again charged per bus rather than per booking. Monthly contract clients may have different arrangements written into their agreement.
Cancellation and refunds
Your price is fixed at the point of booking, so the refund you get depends on how much warning we have. The clock runs back from your scheduled pickup, not from the day you booked.
| How much notice you give | What you get back |
|---|---|
| 72 hours or more before pickup | Everything you paid |
| Between 24 and 72 hours before pickup | Half of what you paid |
| Under 24 hours before pickup | Nothing |
Cancelling. Ring or message us as soon as you know. Quote the reference we issued and the pickup you mean, and a written cancellation comes back to you. Money returns by whichever method you paid with, normally inside 5 to 7 business days.
Moving a date. A move is handled as a cancellation followed by a fresh booking. Give us 48 hours or more and we will normally shift you across at no penalty if a vehicle is free. Under that, the table above governs, and the replacement booking takes whatever rate applies on its new date.
Nobody turns up. If the pickup point is empty at the agreed time and you have not warned us, that is a no-show and nothing is refunded. The grace period is the same as the free waiting above: 15 minutes ordinarily, 45 minutes for an airport arrival.
Part-cancelled multi-day work. Where a booking spanning several days is stopped part way, we charge pro rata for the days already run.
When nobody is at fault. Severe weather, an official restriction or anything comparable that stops the job going ahead is not treated as a cancellation. You choose another date at no charge, and where no date works the full amount comes back to you.
Passengers and conduct
- Every passenger needs a seat. Standing is not permitted and capacity is a licensed limit, not a guideline.
- Seat belts are fitted across the fleet and passengers are expected to use them.
- No smoking, and no alcohol without our agreement in advance.
- The driver may refuse to carry anyone whose behaviour is unsafe, and may end a trip early if safety is at risk.
- You are responsible for damage caused by your group beyond normal use. Cleaning or repair is charged at cost.
Luggage and belongings
Luggage travels at your own risk. Please check the vehicle before you get off. We will help trace anything left behind but we cannot accept responsibility for lost items.
Our responsibilities and limits
- Every vehicle meets LTA requirements, carries full insurance, and is driven by a holder of a valid vocational licence.
- A breakdown means a replacement vehicle, dispatched as fast as one can reach you.
- Congestion, weather and road closures sit outside our control, and we do not accept liability for lateness they cause. We will keep you posted throughout.
- Any liability we do carry is capped at the value of the booking itself.
Service area
We operate within Singapore only. We do not run trips across the Causeway into Malaysia.

Anything here unclear?
Ask before you book. We would rather explain a term now than argue about it later.
Driver, fuel, ERP and parking are included, and no GST is added because we are not GST registered. Prefer the phone? Call +65 8065 3479.
