Our largest single vehicle. It is the most people we can carry without putting a second bus on the road, which is usually the reason to pick it.
A 49-seater coach seats 49 passengers plus the driver and starts at $110 per transfer. It is the biggest bus we run. A group of 50 does not fit, and we will tell you that rather than sell you a seat that does not exist.

Forty nine seats, the largest luggage hold we run, air conditioning, seat belts and a licensed driver. It is the most people we can carry on one vehicle.
At $110 for 49 people, a full 49 seater works out around $2.25 a head for a one-way transfer. The 45 seater at $100 for 45 people is about $2.22. The two are close, so the real decision is capacity and luggage, not price.
Where the 49 clearly wins is when you are near the ceiling. If your headcount might drift from 44 to 47, book the 49 and stop worrying about it.
Seating capacity on a coach is a licensed figure. Standing passengers are not permitted and every passenger needs a seat with a belt. If your group is 50 or more, you need a second vehicle. See bus rental for 50 people for how we handle that, or 50 people and larger groups for larger events.
A one way transfer is $110, an airport transfer is $120, and hourly hire is $70 an hour with a four hour minimum, so $280 for a half day.
| Booking type | Rate |
|---|---|
| One way transfer | $110 |
| Two way transfer | $220 |
| Airport transfer, one way | $120 |
| Airport transfer, return | $240 |
| Hourly hire, per hour | $70 |
| Hourly hire, minimum 4 hours | $280 |
Driver, fuel, ERP and parking are included, and nothing is added afterwards. This is our highest hourly rate, so if your group fits a 45 seater you will pay $10 an hour less.
The 49 seater is bought for capacity, so the questions are about the edges: what happens at 50 people, whether the extra $10 is worth it, and what a second vehicle would mean.
$110 per transfer, $120 for an airport transfer, or $70 an hour with a four hour minimum, so $280 for a half day. All figures include driver, fuel, ERP and parking.
49 seated passengers. Standing is not allowed on a coach, so 49 is a hard limit rather than a guide. Above that you need a second vehicle.
If your headcount is near 45, or everyone is carrying checked luggage, yes. If you have 35 people with day bags, the 45 seater is the better buy.
Yes. When we run more than one vehicle we coordinate departure so the group arrives inside the same few minutes.
The 49 seater is the largest vehicle we run. The one people usually weigh it against is the 45 seater, which is the cheaper seat of the two. Every size is on the fleet page.
Tell us the group size. If you are close to the limit we will check the numbers with you before booking.
